Directions
Clonazepam is to be taken orally, ideally with a glass of water. You will notice it beginning to have an effect within 1 hour after taking and lasts anywhere between 6 to 12 hours.
Side Effects
Possible side effects include:
- Altered walking
- Depression
- Dizziness, (do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you).
- Drowsiness
- Fatigue
- Impaired coordination
- Memory impairment
- Behaviour changes in those being treated for seizures.
Roche Rivotril 2 mg Clonazepam can also cause difficulty sleeping.
Clonazepam may reduce seizure frequency in specific seizure disorders and can be used short-term for panic disorder; however, it can cause dependence and withdrawal symptoms on discontinuation.

Consult your doctor before even considering taking Roche Rivotril 2 mg Clonazepam. The addiction/habit-forming potential of this medicine is extremely high. Dose and duration should be on a doctors advice. Avoid alcohol as it may increase dizziness and drowsiness. Inform your doctor if pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Take Clonazepam as your doctor or GP has advised. Suddenly stopping or changing dose may cause seizures to recur. Long-term use can make you dependent. Be sure to consult your doctor with any concerns. Inform your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms:
- increased anxiety
- depression
- angry or violent behaviour
- mania
Do not stop taking suddenly. Not without talking to your doctor as it may lead on to a number of conditions. These can include;
- nausea
- anxiety
- agitation
- flu-like symptoms
- sweating
- tremor
- confusion
It is important to understand that common symptoms if reducing or stop taking it abruptly can lead on to more serious difficulties. These can include;
- difficulty sleeping
- changes in general mood
- increased sweating
- muscle pain
- headache
- shaking (tremor)
- feeling restless
- extreme feeling of anxiety
- feeling tense
- confused easily
- acting irritable
- easily agitated
